"Old time country feel with a modern twist" and "Pure crisp tone with the grunt of country" are just some of the ways to describe her musical style.

Growing up in Oxford, GA (we promise it's on the map) and raised on old country and southern gospel, she not only inherited her grandfather's guitar, but she also inherited his musical talents.

Moving to Nashville in 2010 to further her music career, Jenn Thornton was quickly sought after to sing in a bluegrass band that was currently touring in the western U.S. at the time.

Although she enjoyed playing with the bluegrass band, she was presented with an irresistible opportunity to move back to Nashville and pursue her solo career.

This in turn, caused her to jump head first into the writing scene and grow as an artist in this great city.

She quickly gained the attention of some of Nashville's top producers, many of which have mentored and helped develop her personal artistic and musical style.

With this fire under her seat, Jenn hit the pavement even harder, booking out writers rounds, writing sessions, working with stylists, and recording her first solo EP have all just been part of her extraordinary growth as a musician.

Her sincere and yet brutally honest approach to story telling only makes you fall more in love with her.

"She is honest, real, scathingly witty, down to earth, and the most relatable artist I have seen out in Nashville in the past 3 years." - Tabitha Marsden
